When day three started it looked like the goldmedal in Youth U26 was all about Sweden and Norway. The two teams had a big distanced to Finland/Denmark with only three more matches to play. It therefore seemed that the final would be played already in the morning when the two teams met.
The match between Norway and Sweden was shown on BBO and those who followed could see a fantastic play by both pairs in the Swedish team, which led them to a big win. The Norweigans were good sportsmen, so the atmosphere at the tables was pleasant after all, and loud - so loud that the TD had to intervene and quiet down at one time.
Just as expected these two teams got to meet again in the final. Norway got a bit of revenge and won the second round this day, but since the Swedes had a big carryover it was not enough. Congratulations U26 Sweden!

In the U21 the final was played between Sweden and Norway. Sweden had a carryover of 24 but that was not enough when Norway had a fantastic play in the final and finished with a big win 0.09 - 19.91. Congratulations U21 Norway!

The Women team Swedish Yellow were inbeatable! They took the lead from the start and finish at a score of 156.27. Impressive! Well done! Congratulations Sweden Yellow!

In the last round for Open teams it was a fight for the silver medal between Sweden and Denmark - who met. In spite of the loss, Sweden managed to hold on to the silver with only 0.63 VP in front of Denmark. Norway was in lead when the last match started and won comfortable which then gave them an impressive win with a total of 132.79 VP. Congratulations Norway!

NBU Trophy
The two series (Women and Open) combined for each NBO, determined the Nordic Champions by the lowest combined placing number. With a gold medal in Women teams, and a silver medal in the Open teams… Congratulations Sweden!
