The Bridge Festival week finishes on a high note with the very popular pairs tournament Guldgruvan, (the Gold Mine). It is indeed another opportunity to play and dig for gold!

Starting with a qualifying session of 42 boards on Saturday 3 August, all players qualify for group finals according to their result. The group finals are played on Sunday 4 August with a 20-pair group A, then 22-pair groups from B, C, D (and so on). All groups play 38 boards in barometer style.

In the A-final there are 5 cash prizes, the amounts depending on the number of pairs participating. Furthermore, in all groups the winner gets a cash prize too!

Entry fee is 3 “tickets”, each ticket costs 110 SEK (roughly 10 EUR), and you can register anytime up to a few minutes before starting time.
